Östersund, Jämtland

The winter city of Östersund lies in the heart of Jämtland, with forests and mountains in the immediate surroundings. Here, skiing has a central role in everyday life, the alpine arena Gustavsbergsbacken is visible all over town, the Östersund ski stadium is located just three miles from our factory and Åre, perhaps the best internationally known ski resort is located only about an hours drive away.

Ostersund is situated by the shores of Strosjön (Great Lake) which is famous for its Great Lake monster and the city has plenty of experiences to offer. Not just during the winter. In summer it bustles with summer life, with shopping and sports. For us, although summer is a busy period, it is nice to enjoy all that Östersund and Jämtland has to offer.

It is easy to get to Östersund and the mountain areas close to the city. You can travel to Östersund by train, airplane or car. The town is located at the crossroad of two European highways - E14 and E45. 
This is the home of Lenko. Close to mountains and the best skiing in northern Europe. Just as it should be.
