Lenko – Environment and climate

At Lenko we do what we can in order to reduce the environmental impact. This means that we strive towards more efficient solutions in transports, choice of materials and in energy consumption in operation. The shorter time the snow guns need to be used the better it is for the wallet and the environment.

This consideration permeates our whole way of working. We supply the snow guns with oil and maintenance-free compressors with the same, or better, performance than previously, hydraulic control of the guns is replaced by electric control, we minimise transports within the factory, we prioritise distribution by rail where this is appropriate.
We have come to the view that we all need to do what we can by making smarter and environmentally better choices. This is about using resources more efficiently in order to avoid unnecessary waste. That is Snow Intelligence, too.
